As we learn to go about our daily activities using the correct muscles and without interfering with our natural relationship between our head, neck and back, we can experience improvements in a wide range of areas including:
Relief from aches, pains and joint stiffness
Improved breathing, digestion, and circulation
Relief from tension headaches
Improved posture and poise
A sense of lightness and ease (both physical and mental)
Improved concentration
More energy and alertness
Some pupils find themselves behaving more consciously on all levels and becoming much more present – to themselves and the world around them. We can experience a wonderful sense of wellbeing that comes with the realisation that not only do we have more freedom of movement, but we have freedom of choice. What I truly love about this Technique is that it encourages us to own our space rather than diminish ourselves. We are literally expanding our capacity to engage and connect in new ways.
